Meet Rose

We met Rose who was brought to us by a man that was helping her out. She is a widow with 7 children and her house just burnt down. She is homeless right now with her children. They are temporarily living with another family, though that family cannot support Rose and her children as well. She is desperate. So many situations like this, but this is one that we were confronted with and are going to try to help. Luke and I were able to give her some money to keep her going for a while, but she needs two things. First, she needs a new home. Believe it or not, for $2,800 she can have a brand new home built for her and her children. GFR has done this a number of times for other families. What is needed, is for someone to help out directly here for this specific family. GFR is also then going to look to have her sponsored on a monthly basis. To sponsor a family, it costs $64/month (for a three year period). We are doing this for another family and it is really a great thing to impact a specific family and know that your money is being deposited directly in a bank account for the family. If you are reading this and have interest in helping Rose and her family, please let me know. She is in a desperate situation.

Luke and I are praying for Rose after we had given her some money to help

Talking with Rose, she is overwhelmed with her situation but also completely overwhelmed with thankfulness at the help we could bring her and her children

Rose is bowing, thankful and overwhelmed
